Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live. – Jim Rohn
I thought it might be a good idea, that if you’re going to follow me on my journey, it might be worth telling you a little bit about myself, my vital statistics at it were.
This guy used to be fit, super fit in fact. He didn’t do anything special, quite the opposite really. He ate bad, constantly eating junk food and drinking, although he did enjoy going for a run. He used to run EVERYWHERE. Not for fitness, but because this freak enjoyed it!
Of course that’s almost 20 years ago now, that’s pretty scary typing that, but yup, almost 20 years ago.
Well a few things have changed in 20 years, for one, I’m no longer in the Army and two, I got a tad older!
OK, enough about that guy, his skinniness annoys me!
One of the biggest excuses not to exercise (and I’ve been guilty of this) is to say, “But I’m really busy and I don’t have time”. Well quite frankly, that’s horse shit! Below I’m going to outline basically what I do during my day. And hopefully show that you don’t have to spend hours every day in the gym, or out running, that even half an hour here or there is better than sitting on the couch saying, “I don’t have time”.
I just started a new job, I’m a few months in now, but I work a 9 and a half hour day 5 days a week (plus answering calls out side of that time). I also live between 2 houses, during the week at stay in my old room at my Mum’s house as it’s only 15 minutes from work, then on the weekends I head up to my other home, with my fiancée and her 2 beautiful girls. But that’s over 100km away, so I have a bit of a drive in front of me.
So it’s easy to see I work on limited time. Anyway, on with the look at a typical week.
