I never thought of losing, but now that it’ s happened, the only thing is to do it right. That’s my obligation to all the people who believe in me. We all have to take defeats in life. – Muhammad Ali
As a Crows fan I hate backing up Port Adelaide, but….
If my maths is correct (and it often isn’t) there are 18 spots on the AFL ladder and 18 teams in the AFL, each of the 18 spots on the ladder need to be filled by one of the 18 teams in the AFL. The better you play the better your position on that ladder. Sometimes things don’t go your way, sometimes you lose games, sometimes you win. Either way, that ladder is made up of winners and losers.
SOMEBODY HAS TO WIN.
SOMEBODY HAS TO LOSE.
Now I can’t stand the Ferals (Port), but we can’t have every team wining, it’s impossible…
SOMEBODY HAS TO LOSE.
It’s fun to rag on the Ferals when they aren’t winning and we are, and they love doing it to us as much in return.
It’s a great rivalry, but why do we have worry about how crap the bottom 3 or 4 clubs are?
SOMEBODY HAS TO WIN.
SOMEBODY HAS TO LOSE.
This year, IMHO is the best year in AFL History. There are at least 4 teams cemented in the top 8 at this point in time. The remaining 4 positions in the 8 are being hottly contested by at least 8 other clubs. Every body wants to play finals footy. But…
SOMEBODY HAS TO WIN.
SOMEBODY HAS TO LOSE.
Why are we asking which coach needs to be sacked? Which players need to go? What’s happening in the board room? This shit happens every year. Are we all that blind that we can’t see this? The Crows played their worst season ever last year, and sure we have a new coach and a few new players, but our young boys are stepping up and the team is stepping up. Sure they still find themselves wanting against some of the so called “power house” teams in the AFL, but they have certainly proven that they are a great team. And they prove that you can have a crap year and follow it up with a stellar year.
SOMEBODY HAS TO WIN.
SOMEBODY HAS TO LOSE.
Do I think the Crows can win the flag this year? I don’t know, I think it would be a Hawthorn or a Collingwood, but hot damn, I think we have a great chance. I’m just loving the footy they are playing right now.
So lets lay off the shit teams that are doing shit and concentrate on the other 14 or 15 clubs that are putting in 110% and proving to the world, that Australian Rules Football is the greatest sport on the planet. But before we do, lets have a look at the final scores from yesterday’s game and have ourselves a quiet little chuckle at the Filthy Ferals from Fucktown (contradict yourself much Swanky??)
FULL TIME SCORES
as they say in Feral ville ‘History in the making..’……Today = History made *_*
