Ted

Haven’t been to the movies for a while, but last weekend (after mistakenly thinking that The Dark Knight Rises was opening) myself and the missus headed out for dinner and to see Ted. Both lovers of the Family Guy and after seeing a few trailers that had my hopes built up, I gotta say, I wasn’t disappointed. Easily the funniest movie I’ve seen this year and I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say the funniest movie I’ve seen in quite some time. This was Family Guy meets ET and it delivered. I was seriously cryinf with laughter in some parts. But I had to hold back my laughter, because it does tend to drown out a theatre and leaves the missus shrinking in her seat. the whole was jam packed full of laughs and they just kept on coming. Seth McFarlane knows how to get a giggle out of his audience or at least he knows how to get a giggle out of me.

Was also great to see regular cast members from Family Guy getting a gig in this show and also bringing back plenty of blasts from the past.

This movie was funny, a tear jerker and damn it, it was also quite funny!

I can’t sell this movie enough. If you haven’t seen it, check out the trailer below and if that doesn’t get your bum on a movie theatre seat, then I don’t know what will.

Can’t believe my first movie review and I’m dishing out 5 out of 5 Pop Corns!
